Micky took a great pic of our initial training for jumping. Started with lunging training and then we moved up to some low ground poles. He seems to enjoy it and we will throw in some trotting poles...
We have really enjoyed having young "farm friend" Micky helping us with some of the training of Little Bit. She has done a great job and hopefully next year they can both be in the show ring.
We finally have found two tree stumps that seem to full-fill Hunter's need to head-but wood all day. He loves to stand atop them and feel like he is "king of the mountain" Hopefully he now will...
Hunter really is the alpha male on this farm. Unless he has on his bouncy balls!
We have found the perfect treats for the girls. They love "Hentastic Treats" . We get them at Southern States and can not keep enough bags around.
Yes, Sunny is really a fainting goat. He usually just wobbles around but if you surprise him he may do a belly up on you.
Sunny got dressed up for Halloween as a Ninja goat and had a great time greeting the guests at Southern States on Williamsburg Rd. He is quite the sport.
We went to get our new Nigerian Dwarf goat today. Somebody decided to ride home in the cage with him. Not sure if this was a good idea or not, but we made it home safe. Welcome to the family Hunter.
So I was trying to get some chores done around the farm today and somebody would not leave me alone! Had to get involved in everything. Even my selfie.
LIttle Bit has put on some weight and some fur. We are keeping him on a tighter leash and he has to spend some time in the paddock. He does like to play with the Barrels.
So we welcomed our first miniature horse today. Meet "Little Bit". A little bit of trouble, a little of sweetness and a lot of attitude
